Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

As the nodal axis is about to shift from Gemini North Node/Sagittarius South Node into Taurus North Node/Scorpio South Node, we have one last eclipse before we are ushered into the new cycle. The new nodal cycle will begin in January 2022, but the new moon eclipse in Sagittarius is giving us a fresh start as we close the chapter on the current nodal transit. 

What have we collectively learned over the last 18 months related to Gemini and Sagittarius themes: local commerce, merchants, short distance travel, neighbors, community, K-12 education, learning, questioning, and communication? This was where we needed to grow (North Node in Gemini)

We have been overdoing it (South Node in Sag) in areas of global transport and commerce. Not focusing on what is at home. We saw the college admissions scandal (higher education). We’ve seen long distance travel grind to a halt. Travel via airplanes and cruise ships suffered tremendously. Hospitality catering to international tourism suffered immensely. Parents and students have been questioning the cost and value of College. We have been armchair philosophers, comfortable in our homes (Ivory Towers) and forgot to go into town to the market place to see really what is going on in the world around us.

The new moon lunar eclipse gives us one last opportunity to balance the themes of the nodal axis before it shifts. We have a chance to start fresh with a renewed perspective and develop integrity in these areas so that we may move forward into the next cycle. 

With eclipses, I always think it is a good idea to observe and even write down what happens to YOU, personally. This will give you an idea as to what you need to shift or change in your own life. The Nodes represent opportunity for soul growth. These cosmic portals are a gift of insight for humanity and ultimately allow for us to evolve. Keep an open mind and heart for the cosmos speak to us in light and symbols.
