Jupiter has entered Taurus

Jupiter has entered Taurus! This is one of the most auspicious placements if you have been looking for opportunity, growth and expansion in your material world. Jupiter, planet of luck and fortune will be transiting the sign of the Bull—our most Earthly sign. Jupiter brings abundance to all it touches. Here we will be blessed with Jupiter’s exuberant energies related to the five senses: sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste. Of course, exactly how this plays out depends on the location of Jupiter in your chart.

1st House: A wonderful transit for improving your image and appearance. Pay special attention to your face and head region. Maybe this is the year to give yourself extra pampering and facials? Focus on your image and identity—just watch for excesses which can pack on the pounds.

2nd House: One of the most favorable placements as this is related to earned income and good fortune related to one’s own abilities and resources. This indicated the self-made success story. Your reward comes through your own hard work md perseverance. The downside? You will likely spend a lot of money on luxury items. Make sure to check your bank account regularly.

3rd House: Great for enhancing your communication skills and teaching yourself a new skill. Enjoy time with your sibling, cousins, neighbors and expanding your appreciation for your community. You may even splurge and buy a new set of wheels. The downside here may be that you are ready for new horizons as your knowledge of your “known” world is being emphasized, and you may simply be done with all this.

4th House: Wonderful for anything Home& Family related, especially expanding your home or purchasing real estate. You may get pregnant, add to your current family, purchase a new home or expand your current one. An adventure into your ancestry may also ensue as well as favorable relations with your mother. Just watch out for becoming a home body. You may like your home so much, you may never want to leave.

5th House: Joy will come through romance, games, children, and fun. Bring out your inner child. Relax enough to explore your new love interest, or you may rekindle the romance with an existing partner. Have fun with your kids, or grandkids. Children in any encounter will make you happy. You may give birth to a child. Remember to have fun! The only word of caution would be that you may have too many choices when it comes to Love Interests. Be discriminating.

6th House: Jupiter transiting the House of Health, Habits and everyday work can be fortuitous in finding a new job, having good relations with co-workers, enjoy experiences in service oriented endeavors or you may even add a fur baby to your life. You should experience good health as well. The only downside here is that any health issue or habit which is plaguing you may become enhanced. Make sure you stay on top of this and check with your health care provider.

7th House: As Jupiter transits the House of partnerships, business relations, clients and contracts, you should experience success in all of these areas. It may be the opportune time to get engaged or get married. Connecting with your customers more intimately, will bring you joy. You will have success with your interpersonal relationships and with any contracts you sign. Negotiations of all kinds, should prove fruitful. Just remember that it’s better to under promise and over deliver than the other way around.

8th House: With benefic Jupiter traveling through one’s 8th House, opportunity and expansion may be seen through other people’s money, an inheritance, a windfall of some sort. Stocks, bonds and investments of all kind. You may also be lucky with enhanced abilities related to the occult. Clairvoyance, clairaudient, clairsentient are all possibilities. You may be interested in mysteries of the Universe and do a deep dive on this subject. All of this is wonderful. Remember through that Jupiter enhance and expands everything he touches, so make sure you don’t go overboard in these areas.

9th House: Jupiter is happy in the 9th House, for here he its “Home”. A transit here will benefit all areas related to long distance travel, higher education, learning beyond school, relations with foreign countries and cultures. Philosophical and wise, Jupiter will love discussing anything pertaining to the material world. Want to learn a foreign language? Now is the time. Learn to cook a meal from a far away country or culture? Perfect. Want to sing and dance while wearing your silk pj’s while sipping your morning coffee in your rose garden? That’s Jupiter in Taurus in the 9th House. The joy of the simple pleasures of life.

10th House: Next to the second house, Jupiter in the 10th is the most favorable for any kind of achievements, accolades and success related to your public image. You may have financial success as well, but it’s more favored towards your public persona. The only negative I see here is related to so much exposure in the public eye, that there may be difficulty with your Home life and privacy. Work/Life balance is emphasized as well as issues related to the father or father figure in your life.

11th House: Networking, social groups and your “Tribe” are in the spotlight here. Jupiter will bring opportunity to expand your social and networking circle. Perhaps you will join a new organization or club, become part of a new friend group or join in a humanitarian endeavor? In Taurus, these would be tangible, real world groups and not virtual. Perhaps you become part of a wine tasting Club where you meet once a month to try out the latest vintage…just make sure you keep that pour on the smaller side.

12th House: the house of solitude and the subconscious will enjoy Jupiter’s transit of expansion by connecting with Self. Opportunities abound to experience richer dreams, meditation, communication beyond the veil. Taurus in the 12th house would provide for grounding and a practical approach to these endeavors. Upon awakening in the morning, you may pour yourself a nice cup of coffee, tea or other beverage and sit down to write about your dreams. Meditating in solitude may spur the true essence of the Taurean placement here and connect the spiritual with the material world, so it becomes tangible and not spooky. Again, balance is key here.

With Jupiter everything tend to be Go Big or Go Home. There is always a positive and negative side to all the planets, but in astrology, we always welcome Jupiter’s transits as they are happy, joyful and bring opportunity for growth.

I’d love to hear from you about your experiences over the next year. Wishing for all of you a most fortunate Jupiter in Taurus transit.
